Summer School of the MSCA Doctoral Network C-Newtral CIties. The overarching goal of the doctoral training proposed in this project is to provide Interdisciplinary, Intersectoral and International training to DCs (Doctoral Candidates) on climate-neutrality in cities from an integrated planning perspective, through various topics/methodologies/approaches. C-NEWTRAL aims to develop a comprehensive framework approach for defining, understanding and proposing solutions to aspects of city development for
climate-neutrality throughout Europe.
The workshop in Heidelberg is at the beginning of the third year of the doctoral network. The goal is to discuss citizen participation locally, including research visits related to community engagement for
sustainable neighbourhoods building upon successful pilots of Climate-Neutral action in neighbourhoods in Heidelberg.
